FASHION CLOTH MASKS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n Face masks, combined with other preventive measures such as frequent hand washing and social distancing, help slow the spread of the virus. However, fabric masks do not protect against COVID-19 as well as surgical masks. <\/p>\n\n Cloth masks are more environmentally friendly, but they are not liquid tight because the fabric is often porous and cannot keep droplets out. Most form gaps near the nose, cheeks and jaw where tiny droplets can be inhaled. After 2-4 hours of wearing cloth masks, the mask becomes very warm, humid and wet, which creates the best environment for the growth of bacteria that can do more harm than good.<\/p>\n\n SURGICAL FACE MASKS OF THE IIR TYPE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n A type IIR surgical mask, also known as a medical mask, is fluid-tight and protects the wearer’s nose and mouth from contact with droplets, splashes and sprays that may contain germs. Type IIR masks also filter large particles from the air. Surgical masks can protect others by reducing exposure to the mask wearer’s saliva and respiratory secretions. <\/p>\n\n Surgical face masks consist of a 3-layer breathable design. They are tested in the direction of exhalation (from the inside to the outside) taking into account the efficiency of bacterial filtration. They must filter 99% of bacteria to be considered liquid tight. <\/p>\n\n Type IIR face masks are more expensive than other, lower classes of disposable masks, but for good reason. In order to be sold on the European market, all Type IIR masks must carry a CE mark.
